Model
L8-WP adds the additional feature of a weatherproof enclosure
to the popular L8 level switch. The optional housing is
constructed of aluminum and allows the unit to be mounted
in outdoor locations and provides an enclosure for easier
wiring connections. HVAC and building automation systems
that incorporate components that are located outside of
the building and exposed to the elements are ideal applications.
The L8-WP is also great for any industrial application requiring
a low cost weatherproof level switch. Standard features
of the L8 are a magnet actuated switch with no direct linkages
assuring a leak proof body, increasing product life, and
decreasing maintenance costs. The L8 features a body construction
of tough and durable polyphenylene sulfide (equivilent to
Ryton®), which has excellent chemical resistance.
