Partlow MIC 8200 1/4 DIN Single Loop Profile Controller

The dual display Partlow MIC 8200 process controller is a 1/4 DIN single loop unit. The Partlow MIC 8200 profile controller is capable of measuring, displaying, and controlling a process variable in applications such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level.

Most heating outputs are easily tuned using the Partlow MIC 8200 profile controller's Auto Tune function, which has several choices for control algorithms and control responses. Control functions, alarm settings, and other parameters are easily entered through the unit's front keypad. All user's data can be protected from unauthorized changes with the Enable mode security system. Partlow MIC 8200 profile controllers have an additional data protection feature in which battery back-up protects against data loss during AC power outages.

The Partlow MIC 8200 profile controller can control a variety of processes including those requiring simple on-off to dual 4-20mA outputs with full PID, while providing the operator with constant visual indication of process and setpoint. The top display may be programmed to show the process variable or deviation from setpoint. The lower display, when programmed, is keypad selectable to show setpoint 1, setpoint 2, or percent output.

Input to the Partlow MIC 8200 profile controller is user-configurable to directly connect to thermocouple, RTD, mVDC, VDC, or mADC inputs. Thermocouple and RTD linearization, as well as thermocouple cold junction compensation, are performed automatically by the Partlow MIC 8200 profile controller. The sensor input is isolated, and the device can be specified to operate on either 115VAC or 230VAC power at 50/60Hz. The Partlow MIC 8200 profile controller is housed in a 1/4 DIN extruded aluminum enclosure suitable for panel mounting and may be surface mounted using an optional adapter.

Options to the Partlow MIC 8200 profile controller include single or dual 4-20mA output, up to three relay outputs, three types or alarms, remote setpoint input, electric motor modulation, and RS-485 communications. Process value retransmission output is also available to the Partlow MIC 8200 profile controller.
