APG FLE Series Custom Multi-Level Float Switches

The FLE Series custom level switches are engineered and manufactured to meet demanding customer applications for liquid level sensing in rugged hostile applications. Available in a wide variety of materials and mounting types, these switches are appropriate in most liquids.

The FLR series is available in lengths up to 153 in. (3900 mm) with a variety of American and international mounting configurations.

The FLE series is physically smaller and has a maximum total length of 24 in. (610 mm). The FLE series offers many of the same options as the FLR, but the FLE is designed for lighter duty, lower cost applications. It has limitations in current capacity of reed switches and the number of switch points is limited to three.

These level sensors contain hermetically sealed reed switches in the stem, and a permanent magnet in the float. As the float rises or falls with the level of the liquid, the reed switch is activated by the magnet in the float.
